The Heartland Miniature Horse Club is a dedicated group of Miniature Horse owners, breeders, and enthusiasts who wish to promote the enjoyment and humane treatment of all Miniature Horses. We are a non profit club officially sanctioned by the AMHA and AMHR, and as such, abide by their rules and regulations. The HMHC is devoted to serving the areas throughout the Midwest and in Region 13.
It is our goal to work towards encouraging, improving, promoting, and protecting the Miniature Horse as a breed. We strive to promote horsemanship, fellowship, and sportsmanship allowing for individuals to enjoy the rewards of owning a Miniature Horse. The club is open to Miniature Horse owners as well as others who enjoy being involved with this incredible breed.
Experience the joy of the Miniature Horse seen as incredible equines that display the grace and beauty of their larger counterparts in a size that’s enjoyable for all ages. As members of the HMHC we will share the pride and joy of owning Miniature Horses with other owners and enthusiasts. We will seek opportunities to increase our knowledge of the Miniature Horse, it’s care and well being, as well as the business of breeding, raising, training, and exhibiting them. We are a mix of horse lovers of all ages with varying years of experience from the seasoned to the newcomer. These farms offer a wide range of horses from show quality, excellent breeding stock, to wonderful pets that become a significant part of your family. Many are surprised at how versatile these small equines are, competing in events such as: driving, jumping, obstacle or halter classes, playing with children, visiting nursing homes, participating in parades, or just being loved.
